Drumurile naţionale aparţin proprietăţii publice a statului şi cuprind drumurile care asigură legătura cu capitala ţării, cu reşedinţele de judeţ, cu obiectivele de interes naţional, între ele, precum şi cu ţările vecine. Drumurile judeţene şi comunale asigură legăturile între reşedinţele de judeţ cu municipiile, cu oraşele, cu reşedinţele de comună, cu staţiunile balneoclimaterice şi turistice, cu porturile şi aeroporturile, cu obiectivele importante legate de apărarea ţării şi cu obiectivele istorice importante, între oraşe şi municipii, precum şi între acestea şi reşedinţele de comună, între reşedinţele de comună, respectiv între reşedinţa de comună şi satele componente sau cu alte sate, între oraş şi sate, între sate. Trimiterea de corespondenţă este comunicarea scrisă, tipărită, imprimată sau înregistrată pe orice suport material care urmează să fie transportată şi livrată la adresa indicată de expeditor (altfel decât electronic) pe suport sau pe ambalajul acestuia. Imprimatele (cărţi, cataloage, ziare şi periodice) sunt trimiteri poştale care nu sunt incluse în categoria trimiterilor de corespondenţă. Trimiteri poştale recomandate sunt acele trimiteri pentru care se oferă o garanţie forfetară împotriva riscurilor de pierdere, furt, distrugere totală sau parţială, deteriorare şi pentru care se eliberează la cerere o dovadă privind depunerea la punctul de acces sau la destinatar. Trimiterile poştale cu valoare declarată sunt acele trimiteri care sunt asigurate împotriva pierderii, furtului, distrugerii totale sau parţiale, deteriorării, pentru o sumă egală cu valoarea declarată de expeditor. Coletul poştal este o trimitere poştală conţinând bunuri cu sau fără valoare comercială; coletele poştale nu trebuie să conţină alte trimiteri poştale. În numărul de conexiuni la serviciile de telefonie sunt cuprinse conexiunile persoanelor fizice şi juridice la serviciile de telefonie fixă şi mobilă. Numărul de conexiuni la serviciul de telefonie fixă este reprezentat de numărul de linii telefonice fixe conectate pentru care se plătesc abonamente. Numărul de conexiuni la serviciul de telefonie mobilă este reprezentat de numărul de cartele SIM pe bază de abonament şi cartele SIM preplătite active. Printed matters (books, catalogues, newspapers and periodicals) means postal items that are not included under items of correspondence. Registered items are items for which a flat-rate guarantee against risks of loss, theft, full or partial destruction, deterioration is provided and, upon request, proof of the handing in at the access point or to the recipient is supplied. Postal items with a declared value are items insured against loss, theft, full or partial destruction or deterioration, for an amount equal to the value declared by the sender. A postal parcel is a postal item containing goods with or without commercial value and does not include other postal items. The number of connections to telephony services comprises the connections of natural and legal persons to fixed and mobile telephony services. The number of connections to the fixed telephony service is represented by the number of connected fixed telephone lines for which subscriptions are paid.
